Are your products clean and safe?
We focus on featuring research-backed botanicals in each formula and making sure any synthetically derived ingredients we use are purposeful and gentle.
We review the safety of our ingredients by reviewing reports from the Cosmetic Ingredient Review board.
We'd also like to note that clean is not a clearly defined or regulated term, so we don't use it to describe our brand.
Are you vegan and cruelty-free?
Yes! Our products are vegan and cruelty-free. That means we don't use animal-derived ingredients like lanolin, beeswax, or honey, and our products and ingredients are never tested on animals.
Instead, we love incorporating nourishing plant-based ingredients into every formula, and test our products on ourselves (and volunteers!).
Are your products fragrance-free?
Our hydrating mist is lightly scented with natural hydrosols. Our facial oils do not contain essential oils or other fragrance additives.
When we do add scent to a product, we do so with intention, only using fragrance ingredients that are carcinogen-free, mutagen-free, and phthalate-free.
Because everyone's skin is different, we recommend patch-testing any skincare that contains essential oils or fragrance to ensure it doesn't cause irritation.
