Are your products clean and safe?
Rather than banning specific ingredients, we focus on featuring research-backed botanicals in each formula and making sure any synthetically derived ingredients we use are purposeful and gentle.
We review the safety of our ingredients by reviewing reports from the Cosmetic Ingredient Review board.
We'd also like to note that clean is not a clearly defined or regulated term, so we don't use it to describe our brand.
Are you vegan and cruelty-free?
Yes! Our products are vegan and cruelty-free. That means we don't use animal-derived ingredients like lanolin or honey, and our products are never tested on animals.
Are your products fragrance-free?
We don't add any synthetic fragrance or essential oils to products meant for the face.
If we add scent to any body products, we only use fragrance ingredients that are carcinogen-free, mutagen-free, and phthalate-free.
Because everyone's skin is different, we recommend patch-testing any skincare that contains essential oils or fragrance to ensure it doesn't cause irritation.
